Local ministry background:
Ida was born into an atheistic family. A complex family situation and very difficult personal life situations led her to an intense search for the meaning of life and anything good at all. God sought her out and covered her with His love and she gave her life to Him. She was 19 years old. She found a spiritual home in Free Evangelical Church. Here she used to serve on the youth leadership team for many years, leading a group for girls and young women, publishing a congregational magazine, teaching Sunday school to children…

She joined the Healthy Youth ministry in 2018 peripherally to her current job. After the covid pandemic subsided, the demand from schools for the HY programs increased tremendously, so Ida entered this service full time.
She offers certified HY programs of the non-profit organization ACET CR, for primary school pupils. In the form of games, interactive lessons, discussions and workshops, she aims to establish and deepen trust with pupils, to enable them to experience good time together in the classroom, to find the strength and desire to build good relationships with their classmates and to learn to make good decisions in life.

Ida is actively involved in the leadership of children’s leisure club ‘The King’s club’. She helps with organizing particular interesting meetings, trips, events and summer camps.

More about programs

How she became a HY Worker:
Even as a result of difficult personal life experiences during her adolescence, Ida has today’s young generation deeply in her heart. Through her ministry and personal example, she desires to encourage children to live a loving and courageous way of life, even though they themselves often come from poorly functioning backgrounds. She wants to lead them to a desire for forgiveness, humility, and purity.
